Thank you for taking the time to show an interest in American Academy of Taxidermy, A.A.T. My name is Dale Goff. Like many of you, I have had a passion for the outdoors all of my life. I have always enjoyed hunting and fishing. It’s always been very rewarding to harvest that trophy and enjoy the many meals that go along with it!
Some of the best memories I have were made while hunting or fishing. One memory I will never forget is when I took my first trophy to the taxidermist. That night I could not get any sleep, it was like the restless night we all have before opening day. The only thing I could think about was if my trophy was going to be OK, and the curiosity of the process of having my trophy turned into a work of art.
After a few more visits to the local taxidermist, my life changed. I decided to learn the art of taxidermy. This is |

| one of the most rewarding decisions I ever could have made. Since then, I have done several mounts for lodges and for many satisfied customers. Now I have the luxury of teaching many others the much-enjoyed art of taxidermy. |

Over the past years, taxidermy has turned into a business opportunity for many, for others it is just a fun hobby. Our courses cater to the hobbyist or the person searching for a new career.
