Career oriented taxidermy course is set up to allow the student to open his/her own taxidermy studio. This course runs four weeks in length and is our most popular course. During the course each student will learn how to properly care for and mount four fish, two birds, one game-head, and one life-size. Class demos will be covered on the following: one antler plaque, one European mount, and one life-size rug. Students will have the option of completing their own antler plaque if they may choose to. Hobby Oriented Taxidermy Course
Course Description: 40 Hours

Hobby oriented taxidermy course has been designed to allow the student to choose a specific course he/she would like to attend. The course he/she decides to take will be one-week in length and will cover everything a student needs to know to complete a mount from start to finish. Working Man Oriented Taxidermy Course
Course Description:

Working man oriented taxidermy course is a two-day course. It works well for a student that does not have the time, but yet still would like to learn the art of taxidermy. This course is a one-on-one instruction only. This allows the instructor to cover everything needed, but also allows the student proper work time. Special Turkey Mounting Taxidermy Course
Course Description: 20 Hours
1 Turkey

Special turkey mounting taxidermy course is a two-day course. If you are a turkey hunter or if turkeys just interest you this is the right course. Only three students allowed per course. Each student must supply his/her own turkey. This is a fun course. What better then for a hunter to be able to harvest a turkey and in the same day complete his/her own turkey mount? Orientation Section:
A lecture will be given on school policies, safety precautions, and student conduct/attendance. Students will be shown their personal work station/tools. Each student will receive notebook & pen (optional: each student is encouraged to take lecture notes.)
